Introduction
My name is Ailemi Mitchell, and I am currently enrolled in the CIS195 course focused on HTML fundamentals and web development. This class has been an eye-opening experience that has introduced me to the foundational building blocks of the modern web. Through hands-on practice and project work, I've developed a deeper appreciation for clean, semantic markup and the importance of structuring content in ways that are both accessible and meaningful.
My primary goal for this course is to move beyond simply creating functional pages to crafting meaningful digital experiences. I want to understand not just how to write HTML, but why certain structures work better than others. By the end of this semester, I aim to have built a personal website that showcases my skills while demonstrating best practices in accessibility, semantic structure, and responsive design.
